The goals of this Chapter are: to provide an opportunity for students of science to known each other, ensure the intellectual stimulus that emerges from the professional association to obtain experience in the preparation and presentation of material before chemical audiences, foster professional spirit among the members, instill professional pride in the sciences, and awareness, responsibilities and challenges of modern chemist.

The mission of this chapter is to grow as a group that promotes science at University of Costa Rica, as well as nationally.
We aim for an integral growth of our members forming people who contribute to the community and become agents of change that disseminate science to the country.
