On June 20th 2025, Rogelio Joel Bautista García led an introductory workshop of Lean Six Sigma, a methodology widely used in the industry to improve performance and quality of the processes.

In a team effort with special guests Rubén González Pfeiffer, Gustavo Javier García Ayala y Raúl Jesús Macías García, a hands.on dynamic took place where several teams mimicked the process of industrial production of chickpeas. The exercise allowed to see in person the impact of small systematic changes and how understanding the cause of errors is fundamental when improving.

From the ACS UNAM we consider this workshop a profound enriching experience and we hope we can continue to offer this type of spaces to the student community.
